The ESFD team organized a preparatory meeting at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Zahle for the farmers, to introduce them to the program of providing services to address agricultural pollution in the Litani River Basin within the scope of each of the following municipal unions and municipalities; East of Zahle, Zahle, Zahle-Al-Maala Taanayel, Bheira, Sahel and Central Bekaa, implemented by the Economic and Social Fund for Development and funded by the European Union.

This project is within the framework of the Local Development Program along the Litani River Basin, funded by the European Union for a value of 20 million euros, and implemented by the ESFD.
